Point Lookout, Oregon
Visiting Washington's Olympic National Park is the only reason I agreed to this lengthy journey, but well worth the effort. Be prepared for several hours of travel times between sites in the park and almost constant rain. Photographing in the forest is challenging due to the rain and low light, so a sturdy tripod is critical. Additionally, the crowded and chaotic forest floor makes isolating the subject difficult, but there are few such magical places left on earth.
